Last day in Kanchanaburi.
Last day in Kanchanaburi.
After two days in Kanchanaburi we are ready to leave today. We have done a boot trip at the Kwai river. That was an nice experience. At first I thought the boot would go 10 miles or so. It didn't, it went a lot faster. The man driving us warned us for holding or cap, at that point I had no idea what we was talking about. The boys learned the hard way and both last their cap. Now Folkert is walking arround with my FC Groningen cap en Jesse has the spare Chicago cups cap. After the river trip we left for a family massag. The grisl loved it and the staf loved the girls.
Yesterday we went to the Erawan falls. It was great. It is nothing like the Niagara falls, here the water drops down step by step and you can swim and walk in the falls. There are hundreds of small falls. They numbered the spots where you could go in, 7 in total. It was a 2 miles climb to get to the top of the falls, that was a bit to far for Silke and Fardau, they reach level 6 and than returned with Susan. Jesse, Folkert and I went up to level 7. On our way down we took a swim every now and than.
Greetings
Jan
